nothing-rhymes-with-ianto:

I am SO GLAD that they included this shot in this episode. Because I think, out of all the shots, even the one of the Doctor frozen and terrified and repeating everything, it illustrates the impact the tension had on everyone. Jethro’s the youngest one on the travel cruiser, and he’s also the one who seemed if not the least emotionally affected at the beginning, at least the one who had the least amount of serious interest and terror about what’s going on. He’s a teenager. When everyone else is terrified, he’s still laughing and telling Skye “My name’s Jethro” and making her say “666” and things like that. The Doctor even looks to him for help because he seems to be the most stable one. And by the end, he’s upset, he’s terrified, he’s nearly in tears. And I think he is the first one to really realize that anything they say to the Doctor now, any sort of apology, will be lost, because the stewardess figured it out and they refused to listen, and they can’t give any excuse for the things they wanted to do.

Ugh I just love Midnight so much. It’s such an amazing commentary on humans and human nature and people trying to survive.
