I was going over some screen caps I took of this movie and this particular one really got to me. By this point in time Jack’s been hanging out with the Guardians for quite a while, but he still doesn’t feel like he belongs with them. You can tell by how everyone’s positioned in this shot. The guardians are all huddled very close together like a family while Jack keeps a respectful distance like that of an acquaintance.

I SWEAR this bothers me so much, he also keeps his distance in every shot before this it just breaks my heart
